New Year Aspirations...

This year looks to show that "white light" at the end of our tunnel. Nate is now working on top of going to school. He started work for this manufacturing company which is interested in some of his ideas for them to produce. They make gun parts and light sabres for other companies already, but now one of the owners is wanting him to come up with a knife design that they can produce themselves so they can sell a product. As for me if you haven't already seen on my facebook page I am starting up my jewelry business again. Uhaul has cut my hours and I have really got to do something other than cleaning on my days off. We put together a craft area for Lyric and I. That in itself when you have your own space to work on your projects just seems to give me inspiration. I have noticed down here the demand for rosaries are quite amazing. I know I'm not catholic but I went to a catholic school in my yr high years and I do have a great respect for the meaning of them. I will of course do other things though but for now my main focus is the rosaries. They are a little bit more time consuming than the average piece of jewelry because you have to keep in mind of how many beads are actually on there. Lyric is also turning out to be a promising jewelry maker like her momma. I have taught many women on how to make a simple loop with wire and most women just don't get it right off the bat. Takes a lot of adults a lot of tries before it looks presentable enough to sell. I was amazed when I showed Lyric one time on how to make a simple loop and she got it and it was extremely good, so good that I will be also selling her stuff on my site too. Hence the new name of the business Moliassa's Designs. There is also a blog for that business too if you click here .  I will be show casing my daughters stuff too. I am not sure if he is still interested but Brenden had voiced that he was interested in doing chainmaile, so if he still is I will definitely keep everyone posted and will sell his stuff too! Oh and for those of you following Nate's blog, I'm not sure when he will have anything new to post because during the week he is at school from 7:30am-12:30pm and then works from 1:30pm-9:00pm. so he is a busy man and only has weekends to work on anything.
