Ok where did my year go....

I was showing a talking with a good friend of mine and told her she should start doing a blog, so I proceeded to show her our blogs that we have and noticed my last post was in January..wow time flies ( I guess we had a lot of fun this year).

Well lets see, Nate is not working for the manufacturing plant anymore which is AWESOME because between work and school he was barely getting enough sleep and spending time with us was non existant.

I am still working for Uhaul (slowly getting fatter by working at home). Nate had a job offer in Elko, NV to run a motorcycle shop when he graduates February 15th, 2013, kids are doing great in school.

We had some camping trips, we finally as a family took a mini vacation to San Diego,

Leslie surprised us with a visit, went to the renaissance fair (where Nate saved a couple great horned owl babies) , Nate and I went to tombstone and saw our good friends the Serrano's, went to another ghost mining town called Goldfield, AZ,

saw the beautiful city Sedona, AZ,
then just spent most of the summer in our pool and tried to stay cool. after all that we just worked and went to school.

As for right now we have abandoned the idea to move to Elko, NV because the rent is so high there and we cannot buy a house, so we are following my mom to Payson, AZ. The rent is much cheaper there, we already found a house to live in (2 doors down from my mom) and it is a small town (with trees!!!) which when we asked the kids where they would like to live they said they want a small town with trees. Nate doesn't care if he works in a motorcycle shop right away because he fell in love with this town too, and there are shops there but since its a small town it will be harder to get in with them, so most likely he will do the motorcycle stuff on the side, at least for now. As for me I am going to use the rest of the hubby's gi bill college money and go back to school for either an associates or a bachelors degree in business management. I want my own shop and so does Nate so it will be nice to actually know what im doing and well if it flops i have a degree to fall back on. Brenden will be driving soon...wow... so he will be finding a job (which he is excited for...i think) Lyric is doing better in school now that she is in middle school and cant wait for Payson so we can do the mountain biking again, and hiking. We all have missed the mountains in Snohomish but don't want to live there anymore. So now we are getting ready to move once again (which i think its our 26th or 27th time since we have been married) and start a new adventure. This year has been pretty good to us so far and I cant wait for the new adventure next year.

New Year Aspirations...

This year looks to show that "white light" at the end of our tunnel. Nate is now working on top of going to school. He started work for this manufacturing company which is interested in some of his ideas for them to produce. They make gun parts and light sabres for other companies already, but now one of the owners is wanting him to come up with a knife design that they can produce themselves so they can sell a product. As for me if you haven't already seen on my facebook page I am starting up my jewelry business again. Uhaul has cut my hours and I have really got to do something other than cleaning on my days off. We put together a craft area for Lyric and I. That in itself when you have your own space to work on your projects just seems to give me inspiration. I have noticed down here the demand for rosaries are quite amazing. I know I'm not catholic but I went to a catholic school in my yr high years and I do have a great respect for the meaning of them. I will of course do other things though but for now my main focus is the rosaries. They are a little bit more time consuming than the average piece of jewelry because you have to keep in mind of how many beads are actually on there. Lyric is also turning out to be a promising jewelry maker like her momma. I have taught many women on how to make a simple loop with wire and most women just don't get it right off the bat. Takes a lot of adults a lot of tries before it looks presentable enough to sell. I was amazed when I showed Lyric one time on how to make a simple loop and she got it and it was extremely good, so good that I will be also selling her stuff on my site too. Hence the new name of the business Moliassa's Designs. There is also a blog for that business too if you click here .  I will be show casing my daughters stuff too. I am not sure if he is still interested but Brenden had voiced that he was interested in doing chainmaile, so if he still is I will definitely keep everyone posted and will sell his stuff too! Oh and for those of you following Nate's blog, I'm not sure when he will have anything new to post because during the week he is at school from 7:30am-12:30pm and then works from 1:30pm-9:00pm. so he is a busy man and only has weekends to work on anything.
